Shipping Policy

This shipping policy sets out how JG Reliant Industrial Distributor & Services (JG-RIDS) facilitates transportation, shipping, or delivery of Customer's orders.


Estimated Delivery Time in General

The estimated delivery time is based on the handling time, the shipping service selected, and when the seller receives cleared payment. In certain cases, the estimated delivery time will vary. By knowing the estimated delivery time, you can determine how long it will take to receive the item.

 

Handling time

Upon confirmation of customer payment, allow us to facilitate your order, arrange packing, and have the item ready for trasportation and/or shipping within 2 - 3 working days.

 

Shipping services

Some shipping services provide an estimate number of days that will take the carrier to deliver the item to the buyer  - be it within City Limits. This transit time does not include the seller's handling time. It includes normal weekdays. Often Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays are not included in transit time estimates.


Serviceable Area

In as much as JG-RIDS wanted to serve every customer order and delivery request, there are delivery areas we have considered unserviceable as a result of our own evaluation.  This may have been caused by proximity, accessibility for transport vehicles, or a known security risk in the requested point of delivery.  Most of the case, we are only able to deliver to key Cities in each local  region in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.


When a Customer's delivery address is outside our scope of serviceable area, we are only able to  deliver the ordered item to the most nearest delivery point accessible to our shipping service provider.

 

Cleared payment

A payment is considered "cleared" after the money from the Customer has been deposited into JG-RIDS account. If the buyer pays by PayPal or deposited Cash into JG-RIDS' bank account, the payment may clear immediately. However if the buyer pays by check, or Telegraphic Transfer, standard banking policy applies and shall be followed.

 

Estimated delivery time

Estimated delivery time is the total amount of time that it will take for the buyer to receive the item based on the handling time, the shipping service selected, and the type of payment used.


JG-RIDS is committed to ensuring that each order made by customer are delivered within a reasonable time - mostly within a period of 7 - 10 working days after customer fulfills its payment and subject to the availability of the ordered item.  However, there are possible causes of delays which are to be considered outside the control of JG-RIDS such as the following:


Cargo Space Overflow in Vessel or transport vehicle, Port Congestion, Strike, Riot, Civil Unrest, Act of Nature i.e. fllod, typhoon and similar events, Force Majeure or any fortuitous events, and Acts of God.


Insurance

Unless you have requested us and JG-RIDS accepted, your purchase payment for the item you have ordered does not cover shipping insurance.  For Customer's protection, we encourage you to advise us whether you want us to facilitate separate insurance for your ordered item.  A separate insurance cost will have to be paid for this extra service and shall be subject to acceptance of insurance coverage by Carrier.


JG-RIDS may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from August 22, 2013.
